Over more than a decade, iFreecomm has expanded its product portfolio from the first‑generation video conferencing offerings to secure indigenous‑IT video communication, mobile visualized command, smart education, and the "Lingmou" ultra‑low‑latency remote control domain, evolving into a national‑level Specialized, Refined, Differential & Innovative "Little Giant" enterprise.
Phase 1: Startup & Technology Accumulation (2004‑2012)
2004 — The founding team commenced R&D of multimedia‑communication products, laying the foundational technology base.
2007‑2008 — Developed high‑definition MCU and HD terminal products for H3C, accumulating profound core expertise in video communication technologies.
2008 — Shenzhen iFreecomm Technology Co., Ltd. was formally incorporated. Integrating R&D, manufacturing, sales and services, the company embarked on independent development.
2009‑2010 — Pioneered the concept of converging video conferencing and video surveillance in China, launching full‑product lines including Freemeeting and Netmedia to secure a first‑mover advantage in the industry.
2011 — Secured Series‑A financing from Northern Light Venture Capital, fueling product R&D and market expansion.
2012 — Formally entered the visualized mobile command sector with dedicated solutions, expanding into multiple mobile‑command verticals and initiating the build‑out of its nationwide sales‑and‑service network.
Phase 2: Rapid Growth (2013‑2019)
2013 — The company entered its first high‑speed growth phase with annual growth above 50%. In the same year, it launched the Longsee all‑in‑one product series and the full lineup built on the new 3V technology, and was granted dozens of technology‑ and product‑related patents.
2013‑2016 — Further advanced video‑communication middleware, mobile hardware development platforms, Android application development, v‑link technology as well as cloud and virtualized deployment, expanding use‑cases into emergency command and other vertical industries.
2014 — Completed Series‑B financing led by Huayu Software (300271), a national leader in court informatization, bringing in strategic industrial shareholders.
2015 — Finished shareholding system restructuring; established the Chengdu Research Institute to expand its Southwest China technology and marketing hub.
2016 — Closed Series‑C financing with CITIC Capital as the lead investor.
2017 — Won bids for 15 provincial‑level projects. Its trial‑court mainframes achieved over 50% market share across China’s court system, and captured roughly one‑third market share on the national Party‑government dedicated network (covering from Zhongnanhai down to county‑level systems).
2018 — Released iFOS, an all‑media video‑communication operating system, and the Yi·Video JF‑series media‑processing engine, delivering a comprehensive intelligent video‑communication capability suite for customers. New businesses such as cloud video conferencing and educational cloud services were rolled out in parallel.
